The 1933 movie made Ruby Keeler famous as the small-town girl who becomes a Broadway star overnight when the diva leading lady breaks her leg and the little chorus girl has to learn the part in just a few hours before opening night. When the movie screenplay was finally turned into a real live Broadway musical in 1980, it won dozens and dozens of accolades including Best Musical Tony Award. Besides the title song, it's full of so many other wonderful tunes like "We're In The Money", "I Only Have Eyes For You", "Shuffle Off To Buffalo", and the famous one that call you to "Come along and listen to....The Lullaby of Broadway...the hi-dee-hi and whoop-dee-doo... the lullaby of Broadway. This one is not to be missed!

The Trip to Bountiful is the famous Horton Foote story of an elderly woman trying to see her Texas childhood home one last time before she dies. Experience her trip back there and the many obstacles that she encounters on her way. It's a touching show that highlights many life lessons. Geraldine Page won an Academy Award playing the old country lady in the movie version of this story in 1985 and Lois Smith just one Best Actress Awards playing the same role in this year's NYC revival. Sure to be a hit with our Deep South audiences.

The always anticipated children's musical for this season will be HONK! It was the winner of London's Best Musical Award in 2000 and is based on the famous old story of the ugly duckling. Ugly has many adventures trying to discover why he is so different than all the other ducks on the pond. HONK! is a delightful children's production with lots of dancing and songs and it ultimately teaches that it's ok to be different and to be yourself. This cast will be comprised entirely of kids directed by Juna Broome. This show will be fun for the entire family.

Sweet Charity is a charming show that has been a favorite for many years.
